| So I've been really digging their last album since I got a new(ish) ipod and I'm wondering what everyone else that's given it a listen thinks of it. | |

| By last album do you mean Mean Everything to Nothing? If so, I loved it (I even put it at the top of my best of 2009 list, but looking back I kinda regret that). I'd kill to see them live again, I haven't seen them since that album came out. | |

| I saw them but it wasn't a good show because everyone in the crowd was a dick. There were dudes smoking pot and the worst was when a really tall guy was bringing beer to his buddies and hanging it everyone's heads. mind you, he's doing this in the middle of a massive crowd of people. So it kinda brought the whole show down. Eventually he spilled on my friend paul's head and that was pretty much it for us hanging out in the pit.
I'd love to go see them at a show that wasn't in a college town or something.

| Also in retrospect, what would you have put at the top of your top list from last year? | |

| Man, that sounds like a drag...I hate when the crowd ruins a good show. I remember seeing mwY a couple years back and there were some dudes that couldn't stop making fun of them...or when I went to an all-acoustic show and these guys right next to me were screaming all the lyrics as if it were a hardcore show or something. Lame.
Anyway...in retrospect, I would've put Thrice's last album at #1 for sure. In fact, my whole top 5 would've been rearranged...but I guess that's how it usually works out.

| Yeah that's the tough thing about those lists, which is why I haven't written any and I'm holding off til 2025 to make them. I really want to make sure I have plenty of time to think about what is the best.
Yeah people like that just bring the whole thing down for people who just want to enjoy themselves. Makes you really appreciate when you leave a show and you know that part of the reason that was a good show was because the crowd wasn't really really lame.

| And it was really bad pot too. I mean I'm no expert but that pot smelled SOOOO much worse then regular pot.
Btw, now that I've burned that cd so I can listen to it in my car, I'm even more into it then I was before. Everything to nothing is such an amazing song.
