i agree on the charger Andy, its a travesty of what its become today.
and really the gumpert? didnt they say no matter what angle you look at it it's disgusting?
classic: probably a mustang fastback 2+2. with frickin louvers cause they're awesome
luxury: tie- the BMW 550i and whatever the top of the line Mercedes S-class is. the BMW has a more than able V8 and all the little trinkets you need and the Mercedes most likely has an insane V12 and luxuries along the lines of back massagers built into ALL the seats
sports: sorry to stay mostly German but at the moment it's a Porsche Cayman. its got teh signature porsche look, can do what you want it to, and its cheaper than a carrera.
Top gears my favorite TV show. ever. i think my favorite episode is the "top gear vs german car show" cause they keep referencing the war. the vietnam one is good cause not only is it hilarious at how miserable Jeremy is but i never knew there were sights like that in 'nam. that land rover vs the tank is pretty awesome. theres another chase kind of like that where Jeremy drives a car painted like a fox and is dragging fox urine so that hunting hounds and horses will chase him.

well... i never saw it in orange. thats actually kinda nice.
any thoughts on the Porsche Panamera? It's Porsche's first sedan EVER. I think it's frikin' awesome, Hammond and May drive one when they race the royal postal service from the bottom to the top of the UK

I have never really liked overly smooth cars, I like seeing aggressive angles. In that respect I don't like the looks of the Panamera.
However I do love the concept! any 500hp SEDAN is awesome in some respect. Albeit it will be slower than it's coupe cousins, but it is much more practical. This is the same reason I loved the Cadillac CTS-V when it premiered, it is a fast car with all the same practicality as a normal sedan.

Any sedan reaching sports car territory is awesome.
speaking of teh Cadillac CTS, have you heard of its sports car cousin the XLR? its like a "Cadillac Corvette" and a better design of Mercedes' SL cars. sadly it was discontinued last year.

Yeah I did hear about the "Cadillac corvette" but I would rather have an actual corvette.
Ever heard of this concept Cadillac? The Cadillac Cien v12 It was also an unlock-able and upgradeable car in in Gran Turismo 4. As a concept it was the fastest American car in the game once upgraded.

I would too if corvettes werent so plentiful in west sac, i've seen like 20 in the last week. I'd stick with the XLR for originality plus it looks smaller so parking would be easier.
Ah the Cien. i remember that was an unlockable in Midnight Club 3: Dub Edition as teh first purchasable super car. it hauls ass! I'm liking how all of cadillacs designs these days are all done with a ruler.
it does look like cadillac made a lamborgini gallardo in which case why not get one of those? I saw the last one lambo made on top gear recently and it was amazing, it almost held its own in terms of speed against a mercedes mclaren.

Well Ian, beside the obvious "I can't afford a Lambo either", I would not get a limbo anyways if I was shopping for super-cars. For instance I could buy a Koenigsegg CCXR (AKA the car so wild it almost killed the Stig)
And probably that fastest way to kill yourself for $650, 000...

omg the koenigsegg. definitely one of my favorites. i remember it was actually put on the cool wall not because its cool but because its scary. I like it cause it looks futuristic and it performs well, but also because it isnt made in italy. nothing against Italians just its refreshing to see a super car from a different part of the world.
and who actually spends that much on a car!?
